I see a lot of the S class boats are using hulls that are as much as 20+ years old. Are there new hulls being made for this class or are they just refitting older boats? Who's building the newer hulls in the smaller inboard classes? I'm a newbe to this site and have always had an interest in the limited class boats.

In Canada, Claude Bergeron and Bert Henderson build new inboard hydros. Bert supposedly retired but I don't think thats the case anymore. They also both race Grand Prix Hydroplanes so if you happen to be near a GP race you could go meet them. Going to any inboard race is a good bet to get info on for sale and new boats. I said earlier today that I saw two 1.5 liter boats for sale at the Tonawanda race in response to a similar question. You can post something on the inboard yahoo board to get some contact info of builders, ect.
