Vintage Testing on Lake Washington

A drop-dead gorgeous late summer day in early September made for an awesome day on Lake Washington.

Two vintage hydros, both built in 1948--the Slo Mo Shun III and the Hurricane IV, took to the water.

Especially sweet was the running of the Hurricane IV, which just completed a 50-month long restoration. This was the late Roger Newton's final project before we unexectedly lost him last month.

Great to see the Hurricane IV on the water and out of the Hydro Museum. Not the HARM J Hydro project can get underway again!
