Seeing as how I was unable to attend this event, I am curious to know what REALLY happened in JR today. What's the story?

I was there helping Dylan & Worm, but would rather have your uncle fill you in on the details. Your Aunt Sheri might also, as we were all standing there when the incident ocurred.

I've heard their side of the story. I'd like to know what everyone else thinks.

Nothing important happened there was just a little mishap in one of the turns. And I would like to congratulate Kurt for his wins this weeked and i would like to thank Badger state for putting on a great race.

"Atta boy" Dylan! Proud of you buddy! I would love to be younger and racing against you. Your mom & dad did a great job! A Little misfortune and you take it like a champ.

Congrats to Kurt(HOC, right?) and all the J drivers this year!

Great job this weekend Dylan. It was a pleasure helping you & watching as the great Runne racing tradition continues. Your time will come, sooner then later. Your post just shows that you are also a champion.

I also want to offer my congratulations to Pete Nydahl & Kurt for their outstanding performance this weekend. Just as I stated that the Runne tradition continues with Dylan's achievements, it certainly holds true with Kurt's achievements that the great Nydahl racing tradition continues.

                        Great attitude

I dont know what the heck happened. However, by Dylans response it sounded like he faced adversity and things did not go the way he hoped.

Your response Dylan shows what type of person you are! While things did not go your way in your race, as in "real' life, you have perspective and poise. I am sure you are going to win more trophies than you will have room for in the future. However, more importantly with that attitude you will be a success in life no matter what the challenge!

Dylan is a great kid and is a awesome racer. Comes from a great family!!!!

It was an awesome race from the shore. Everyone was sitting on pins & needles waiting for the results, knowing it was going to be very close. It was a first class act by the Runne's to bring Dylan over to let the kids determine who was going to win JR high points and most likely get in the HOC. They could have taken their chances, finished out the season at their local race and then waited to see what happens but no they decided to drive right by the local race and drive 16 hours to let the kids decide. First class act!!!

Dylan you're more than welcome to come visit anytime you want. (I suggest in the summer when you don't have a race and we do) I'll keep my promise and let you run some of our stuff (might have to keep what class from your mom).

The best part of the weekend was when myself & Donny took seven of the kids go-carting. Typical story as we all know...Donny telling them to keep it cool until the last time we get on so we don't loose 200.00 worth of tickets... We bought enough tickets for 9 people to go three times. Dylan & Thomas start taking people out in the first corner. They tell us were done for the night...ok what do you do with 130.00 worth of rides...send Donny to talk to management, right?...Donny talks the local law enforcement on duty and the manager to let us back out... Mr. Police man give us all a little pep talk and lets them back out.

Who is told on the last ride that they are done for the night...Donny.
