In the past I've dismissed the idea of wearing safety socks because my thinking was "you can't protect every inch of your body" and “what are the chances?”. My thinking changed this weekend at Loch Haven for four reasons:
1. Johnny W. was bitten by his own prop in AXSH. He’s okay, but the cut on his foot would probably have been less severe if he was wearing safety socks.
2. My 16 year old son was racing with Johnny in AXSH at the time.
3. My 10 year old son raced JH for the first time this weekend.
4. All three of us wear regular socks anyway to prevent the sand from grinding the skin of our feet away from going in and out of the water all day.
What sizes are available?
What’s the cost?
How do I order?
Obviously I could have contacted you privately via email. So this posting is half personal interest and half public service announcement.
