Mike, Thanks for sharing your experience. It IS a ride, no doubt! Just wait 'till you're racing with others in a tight bunch, all heading for the first turn!
              You'll love it!

                  Awesome!

Good deal Mike!! Bill Hossler has worked very hard to get that rig set-up and you appear to have been very comfortable in it. Carefull, boat racing is an addiction for which there is no cure!!

Mike was cruising around in 175cc hydroplane. The engine is a beautiful 2-cylinder VRP 175cc. This has to be one of the best balanced 2-cylinder racing engines ever built. They run smooth, provide good acceleration and will hit a top-end speed just over 80mph in competition.

The boat is a TECraft, built by Tom Cronk from Lakeland, Florida. The boat is a beauty and Bill has done a good job of getting it set-up.

The 175cc class is slowly taking root in the US. It will be one three UIM World Championship classes that will compete in Florida in the fall of 2008 (along with 125cc hydro and 250cc hydro).

                      Mike,

What body of water were you on? I'll be looking for a place to test, hopefully in the near future. BTW excellent job with the web site.
