Mike...Tracy Phillips was the winner in Outlaw class SLT, Mike Green and Sally Johnson won Bandit SLT. Great Job reporting. Can we count on you for next year...when you're not helping Tim in the pits that is. Congrats again Tim on your CSR win.

Thanks for helping out Bob with those winners. I knew someone would help me out. I will always be there to help. Our family has enjoyed 27 wins at this race. Dewey has 15 total with 11 in a row and I have 12. This race is in our blood and we will always support it. Mikey

                Condition?

Any word about Shane and Julie Venier's condition? Has anyone set up a contact person or place to send cards and/or contributions to help them out?
                Thanks.

Info and quotes from Shane were in Free Press at address below.

Top O' winners almost all donated their race winnings to the injured couple. They are a class act group.

Not sure who to talk to about donations but you might try contacting the club through thier web site tomorc.com to see if they have any info.

Lets think about this... Tim races in a class that consistently has the largest number of entries. And there's a lot of really tough competitors in the C class. There's countless things that can go wrong while competing in this marathon race. Yet somehow, Tim has come out on top for the last 11 times in a row! Obviously, Tim is doing a lot of things right! Congratulations Tim Ross!

935 miles without an engine failure. Boy are those Yamato's dependable. I think Yamato should have him on there web site or maybe a add bragging up there product. Mikey

                        It's an unbelievable run

                        Congrats Tim (duey)!!!

Yes the fact that he has finished that many times without falling out of the boat, running out of fuel (sometimes the yamato set ups leak and they run short) or just plain breaking a 1 dollar part is remarkable. I finished one year with my carburator hanging by one loose nut as one of the flanges broke. Just the fact that all the stuff that can go wrong has not over the years shows the amount of preperation the Ross boys put into the marathon, and a little luck to go with it. Keep up the good work Tim, I doubt this streak will ever be broken.
