Top O weather report

A cold front will be swinging through northern Michigan on Thurs and will usher in much cooler temps for the weekend. High for Sat will be 70 degrees and for Sunday the high will be 74. Both days will have sunny skies. this translates into strong winds for both days with Sat most likely having the most wind. This is the Top O after all...whats a little wind? Enjoy...and bring lots of padding!

The winds were blowing

I was at Burt Lake State park (wich is just down from Devo park) Sunday for my sons birthday party, (this would normaly be race weekend up here). There where three footers crashing on the beach and the wind was blowing straight down the lake. You could see 25 foot plus boats out in the middle getting the crap beat out of them. If the wind is anything like that this weekend you boys & girls are in for a real ride, (mother nature the great equalizer)

I find that a liberal dosage of rum applied in just the right spot does wonders for my aching body and soul. This year I think I will need to double or triple my amount. The REAL test of courage (or stupidity) is climbing back into the boat for the 2nd days ride. THAT separates to sheeps from the goats.
