Anyone have an update on how it went? Who won? What sort of numbers did we have? How did the new motor run in the runabout?

I wish I could have made it out west. I would have loved to run with you guys. Hope to see everyone next year. I'm also very happy to see a couple are coming out to the marathon nationals. I can't wait to meet you guys.

JW meyers won it with the new motor on the pretty new 2007 Craig Craft runabout. I heard Fred H was looking good also, but had the rod break in the motor and didn't finish. You would have done well Josh if you had gone. I got an e-mail from Jeff Yunger and he is coming to TopO. I think Darrell S has 2 D rigs coming and 1 might be another Tohatsu. You will be impressed with them. Go to the pictures posted on Camera Boys Region 10 site on the right side of the main page of Hydroracer. Go to Saturdays pictures and you can see the boats that ran. See Ya Friday at the Breakers. I may be binging Palmquist with me. Be ready to party Rick Bird style (left coast style). Bring the milk and cookies Mikey

JW was running a 44XS, not a Tohatsu.

Troy Holmberg ran Howard Shaw's Tohatsu rig and placed second. Russ Bircher also ran a Tohatsu. The other 3 were Mercs.

JDub had a Mariner. Hauenstein was out front the first heat but threw a rod. He finished third & didn't go out the second heat.
