Well, it's possible that I may attempt to get there this year. But, probably not probable. Depends on work and the economy. But, everything is packed and ready to go.

Cleared out the riverband this morning and, unfortunately, uncovered four huge hornets nests. Needless to say, we'll have a big bank burning party tomorrow night.

I will be there with 2 125 hydros. The 250H will be in the trailer but no driver and no lower unit so it will stay in the trailer. Can someone tell me where the best motel might be?? The circular says "in the area" not much help to those of us who have never been there!

Also, the Hampton Inn just opened earlier this year. It is right next to the Comfort Inn. Pretty pricey, however.
Good call on the Keystone, they just reopened about a month or two ago.

BTW, the City of Lock Haven a couple of months ago bought the high school football stadium in town, behind McDonald's, near Dunkin' Donuts. Plans are to make that a hotel there, along with two "name" restaurants and condos.

Hotel space, or the lack thereof, has always been a problem in our county and that will be an especially tough weekend with Penn State at home (which they will be for the foreseable future). Thankfully, the county hired a tourism infrastructure planner, who is going gung ho with everything, and hopefully more hotel/motel space will be available in the next several years.

Best Western is the best bet for now.

There will be nothing in Centre County, Lycoming County may have some as well.
