  • National Yamato Giveaway

Congratulations to Mike Perman for winning the Yamato 302 that was given away at the 2007 stock nationals in Moses Lake. Overall, I'd say that this nationals was a great event and I can't wait to see all you guys out in Whitney Point next year.

    Thanks to all!!

This past week Seattle Outboard was the host of a very well run event and it seemed that most had some great racing success. The O’Berto Nationals was topped off by a huge raffle by Sheryl Rucker’s Entertainment Committee at the Awards Banquet.
One of the items raffled was a Yamato engine donated by RPM Marine and the Yamato Motor Company. Some confusion cropped up after the first name called was not present at the time, and the next ticket was drawn. The O’Berto Nationals Race Committee and Ric don’t feel right about this and would like to announce that another Yamato engine will be sent to the first winning ticket as well as the gentleman who got the big win that night.

A special thanks to, Ric, his company and to all who worked the event.

    Thanks for coming

          Thanks!!

I just wanted to say thanks to all of those who donated items, bought raffle tickets and purchased silent auction items at the banquet(s). These items were all donated to help subsidize the cost of the Salmon/Prime rib dinner as it was definitely more than 20$ per person cost! I owe a huge thanks to the entire west coast especially Teri Z, Joe Johnson, Lauren (and all the J/A kids) Peterson Racing, Perman's, Mike and Denise Johnson, Pat Gleason and Christine...and Rachel....Susan, Alicia and Jeff....Lauri Ruhl and everyone who helped set up for the finals banquet (so if I forgot anyone my apologies). I couldn't have done it with out your help. Lisa, the center pieces were fantastic and the room looked great! I hope a good time was had by all........

hey Ric, you have my address, send it to me in Marysville..........

I do want to applaude SOA and RPM Marine for giving away a SECOND 302 in the raffle. Although, the 3 names that were drawn in the raffle all already have FAST 302's!!
