    Skippy

Rick Jr. you may have your ride? I'm bringing my spare runabout engine, too and Bob S is bringing his Giles hydro. See us Friday PM for a couple of practice laps. If you like it perhaps it will work out so that we'll have five 25SSH. Mike Marshall Raceboat61-S

Just found my Brown kick-out bracket is bust'n .....going to add an old Keller kick-piece, on-the-pin as a back-up....Would like to check transum angle to order a new bracket....If ya have a angle checker thing-a-ma-jig, please bring so I can fig'r this out and order a new one.....Maybe Stu will see this and chime in with what a Altralite tran-sum angle is??????

              Sat. Post Race Perspective

Saturday's racing was fun to watch and enjoyed the great racing and good weather. Not too bad a turnout for the weekend right after the nationals. Great talking with all the people. WIll share a couple of the 114 pictures I took. If anyone would like some more just eMail me at hinsdale@bellsouth.net
Rick, We're sorry to see you go over and hope you aren't hurting too much. Looks like the boat came through pretty well considering.
              Good racing by all!

Also had a new female JH driver.

Shannon Justice took big bro Dylan's rig out and won overall in her first race. She looked like a 3 yr Vet out there, instead of her first race. Ran 4 solid heats all weekend.

And big bro gave her the traditional first race/ first win dunking. I heard she vowed to get even by painting 1/2 his(their) boat pink.

Rick "Skippy" Wagner should be fine. He'll need to heal for a while. He is at the Doctor right now so he'll know more today. Shoulders are slow to heal after popping out of the socket so I would expect (& recommend) that Skippy calls it a year.

On another note I must say I was very impressed with the driving of the 24-S Jonathan Brewster. He keeps getting better. I was very proud of him this weekend. Great job buddy!

Also I couldn't be more proud of Ryan. It was really great to be there for his first dunking! You boys are keeping the tradition going.

Thanks to everyone who came to support the event. I want to also thank Steve Justice & Jen Rice for doing registration. Jen also was on the stand all weekend. And thanks to Dana Holt who did a ton of work as the RD all weekend. Thanks to all club members who helped put things away quickly. Your efforts got me home at 11:45 w/ the club rig. Thank you.
