Stacy, You do look very sad. My day "not at the nationals" went like this. Worked for 3 hours preparing a group of 5 year olds for kindergarten. O.K. that's not too bad. But then I came home and scrubbed and scoured a bathroom from top to bottom. Then I took apart, cleaned and put back together the vacuum in 98 degree weather. Yuck!!! Yes, I would much rather be boat racing. What are the rest of you "left behinds" doing?

I am spending my week working like crazy, thank god for air conditioning.
I think that by Wed. I will be holding Heather while she cries!!!! Allready she wrote: I miss him terribly!!! and it's only been a couple days.
I am thinking pool party for us left behinds, how long will it take you to get here Robin????
Check the cheap flights to AC or Lehigh
Oh and I found the other Mrs Runne, she jetted off to Italy I think to find Antonio and some new shoes.

Not fair I was going there to get him first. Yes by Wednesday I should be a basket case. I am not sure why I miss him. Most wives are happy when their husbands leave, I am thinking I haven't been married long enough. LOL. Well have a good night ladies and gents.

Beth, Glad you tracked down my left behind sister-in-law. I can't believe she went on a great shopping trip and didn't invite me. She'll pay for that!! I checked flights and I can be in AC by 10:10 tomorrow night. If you have the margaritas chilled by the pool when Valentino and I arrive, we'll be BFF.
Heather, I've been married for 25 years and I miss John, too. I hate sleeping alone. It doesn't get better with time. In fact it's worse when you know they're racing and you're dying to know what's going on. Oh, sorry that doesn't help does it? Have a great day tomorrow and I'll check with you all then.

Heather and Robin-

I miss my husband terribly too - and he can be a royal pain in the *@*! (Just check the pics and Ed's play-by-play to verify). I bet I've called him four times today. The last phone call he said "you're driving me nuts! We're trying to unload the trailer." It really sucks being at home when I want so badly to be there. Worse yet, I leave for Florida Friday and he will be home Sunday. I won't see him again until the 17th!
