Runne Racing Cross-Country Trip Begins

Update from the Runne Race team:
I spoke to Ryan about 20 minutes ago and they were in North Dakota heading to Fargo for dinner. They seem to be making good time and having a ball. They hope to get a wireless connection in Fargo to catch up on all the posts today. John has landed in Seattle and is looking for his luggage. Sheri and Dylan finally made it to Seattle also but thier luggage may be somewhere else. John's going to try to find them in the airport. That's the latest word.

It's 9:15 EST we are just passed through Bismark, ND. We saw more sign of life there than the rest of ND combined. Wormy and Greg are catching up on some sleep in the back, and Sledward is at the wheel still. We filled up on chow at the Broken Spoke Family Restaurant in Valley City, ND. Beautiful country up here, but it is a different world than the East Coast. We still have about 800 miles of nothing through Montana before we hit Idaho. Should be there early afternoon tommorow. The pedal is down and we're drivin' on through the night. See you all in the pits!!!

When we talked to John he was at Darren Goering's house. They left to go wherever they're going testing somewhere near Moses Lake. Didn't get all the details. more later

Great coverage from the East Coast crew enjoy the clean air and good life while you can, just think when I turn on the ten o'clock news tonight the headlines will be how many people were murdered in the city today have fun and be safe, before you know it you will be back on Rt. 95 south sitting in grid lock

Westbound Runnes

Gerry and I just got in from dinner and checked in. Laughing alot at all the different teams at different points in the trip!
Gerry just wants to know how his baby is. Sled, take care of her for him. Send us a photo of the rig for the shop.

It's 2 am here time, and Greg's got Turbo screamin'!!! We just passed Billings, Montana, and he's running on Monster, and I'm pounding Red Bulls. Only about 12 hours to go. Looks like were pulling an all nighter. Sled is getting rested after driving for 10 hours straight. And hey Gerry, the Trucks running great, the front end looks like it needs a shave, we've done some mass murder. The bugs out here look more like birds. NO stopping us now!!!! Greg and Ryan, pedal to the metal!!!

Monsters on the grill

Good morning Boyz, hope the night went well. Sorry I just couldn't do it. But I dreamed good dreams for you all.
Don't worry about the monsters on the grill, just be warned, Greg knows where EVERY car wash is from coast to coast.
I guarantee he allready has them mapped out!!!! He would never pull in to the pits less than spectacular.
I even have photos of him waxing his trailer for local races. I'll see if I can put them up later.
