Update posted by Robin Runne: Mother of the infamous Ryan...

Word has it the Runne Racing trailer left the Jersey shore area at approximately 2:00 PM with Worm and Ryan and were enroute to Sled's in Pa. to pick up "Uncle Marshmellow" (Sled) and Greg.
I have to say I'm surprised noboby but Bill Huson has questioned the pants Ryan is wearing in the 1st pic Allie posted. I have dubbed them the "Traveling Pants". Legend has it they originally belonged to Craig Bowman in the 1960's. They may have been passed around to various boatracers over the years until they were discovered in our trailer after having spent a winter as a home to a family of squirrels. If you were ever a wearer of these pants we'd love to hear from you. We do know they spent some time in the mid-west during the 1980's. Laurie Allen may have worn them for a time and they called Florida home for awhile after that. Please fill in the holes if you can. No pun intented. Fantasy stories are perfectly acceptable. What's life without a few fantasies?

I just got home from dropping sheri and dylan off at the airport in Newak. Their flight was delayed until tomorrow morning due to inclement weather in Newark.
I'm also officially depressed. It's really hard for me to face the facts, but I'm just not going to the nationals. I think I'll pull through.

MAUREEN AND I ARE LEAVING MONDAY OR TUESDAY, IT DEPENDS ON MY DOCTOR APPT, FOR MY NECK. BUT MAMA IS HAPPY SO IAM HAPPY. TONY IS ON THE ROAD TONITE.

Birdman, Tell Tony to give me a call if he has road trouble between say.... Portland and Moses, or if he needs a shower or a burger (and a beer of course) . We're 75 miles south of Moses Lake in the Tri-Cities, and he'll have to drive within 3 miles of the house to get there. Offer stands for anyone coming thru on I-84 reguardless of the direction.

Robin's Update

Runne Racing, the southern division, is off to the races. I just returned from dropping John off at the airport. He'll be making a whirlwind tour of several of our countries finest airports (New Bern, Charlotte, Phoenix & Seattle). Hopefully, he'll have figured out how to work his new cell phone by the time he arrives. His number is 252-617-6446 if you want to give him a call.
Glad to hear Worm is keeping Ryan on the wagon while on the road. As far as born again, I don't think I want to go through that again......Safe trip to all.

We're in Chicago, 6AM local time, left Ryan in Indiana at a rest stop, he wouldn't shut up! Bumpy roads in the windy city, difficult to type. Sled is snooring like hell and Worm is wolfing down Vienna fingers, hounding Ryan about staying in his lane, quite comical! I left some excellance in Valpraiso for ya Ed.
