It's 10:30 PM. Do you know where your children are?

Ryan should be here around 1 AM. Being the good sister I am, I'll be waiting up until he gets here. I don't know if the West Coast is ready for this! But then again, if the West Coast can handle Rick Bird, I think it can handle anything!

        Seafair weekend

Ok...racing is saturday and sunday. Sunday is when most of the racing will be like 2a-c,3a-c, consolation heat, and winner take all final. The race course is right off of I-90 at Stan Sayers park. There's boat racing all day and an air show in between heats inlcuding the Blue Angels (they close the I-90 Bridge for this). Getting into the pits may be tough because Seattle police are pretty tight with their security, but just walking around and seeing the racing from the shore is fun too. Lots of food and beer! Here's the website for the event. http://www.seafair.com/events/hydro/

Well, it's 1:47 am and I made it to NJ! Picked me up a powaful 20 motah from Gurry "Fred G" Pond. And you can be the proud owner of that motor for $2500 said Gary, $3000 if dad wins!!!! I was luckier than Rick, not only did I run on empty for the last 30 miles of the trip(and make it all the way), but I had beer when I got here too!! Tommorrow we pack the trailer, then Friday, off to Sled's, then Moses! Watch out, the Right Coast is comin' to town!!!

My dad won his first Natl's in CSH that year at 23 years old! The shirt actually belonged to my grandmother. Here's some trivia for you, do you know who it is on the shirt?

The CSR on the bottom is for Daren G. The boat on the back is a BSH for Peter Scoponich. I think you've seen the one on top before.

Oh, and we've got both Worm and Sled babysitting. I think Greg and I are gonna need the luck!!

Having taken a moment alone subsequent to viewing those FREAKIN STUDLY photos and downloading them to begin my Ryan Runne pin up calendar, my blood pressure is now back to normal and I am now prepared to send my very best wishes to Mr. Ryan Runne, my friend and hero.

                      GO RYAN!

Ryan, I'm so glad to hear you made it to New Jersey safely. Is that with or without any speeding tickets? Good thing you were using the good gas, it gets you those extra few last miles. Stop by and see Aunt Wendy and Uncle Paul for a few minutes if you have time. They would be thrilled to see you. Have fun.

                        Love, Mom

                          Ryan,

I'm going to guess that's Phil VanSykle on the shirt.

If not him....then one of the Berghauers.

Oh yeah...I got a 3rd in JSH that year.

Are they pointing at the boats, the trailer, the truck, the pits??? I'm really confused, here.
