Great job Mr. Giles!

You are a true racing legend! Your accomplishments as a Racer, Official, Boat Builder, Champion, and Pure Gentleman are outstanding my friend!! What a great asset you are to this sport. You were one of my heroes when I raced J's in the 70's and you are still one of my heroes today!!

Will we ever see a return of the blue "Cookie Muncher Racing Team" coveralls?

World Osy Championship

Bill finished 12th from 21 entries, scoring points in only 2 of the 4 heat series. Retired the boat prior to the final after suffering damage. Was this Bill's last race? His wife says it was!

Championship won by Sean Barnard (Gt Britain) driving an American style kneeler with props by DeWald. European champion Baszinsky from Slovakia runner-up and a very young girl from Germany in 3rd spot.

Only a few minor accidents and no injuries,

Bob Goller from Mass was assistant engine inspector.
