DePue, Illinois Boat Racer's Reunion

July 25-27, 2007 we are having a Boat Racer's Reunion. It will be downtown DePue. Main "PARTY" is scheduled for Friday night, everyone is invited. Pre-registration is $30. (Includes a T-Shirt and dinner). Current racers can walk up to the dinner for $10. (Johnsonville Brats, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, AND CORN ON THE COB).

Charlie Strang will be the Keynote speaker.

John Schubert, Jeff Lytle, Paul Christner, Joe Rome, Wayne Baldwin and myself have been the REUNION COMMITTEE. John Schubert has been the Chairman.

Jeff and Paul designed the logo. I've had Ann Fitzgerald of APBA Clothing make 450 shirts, I had 1,000 posters made and I used Walbadwin's pictures, to make 31 ZINC ETCHED plaques.

We plan to sell the plaques at a silent auction, Marshall Grant has signed some books for the auction, Charlie Strang is donating an Iron Fist boat, too.

Joe Rome mad a DVD for the Reunion and is selling it for $10.00. All proceeds from the DVD sales will go to the U.S. Title Series.
