The largest class of the weekend was JH, again! There were lots of cameras going off, these are the quick ones I took. Two new drivers this weekend, one was J and the other was, A (?) Also had 6 JR's.

A big thanks to Rick Hannon for announcing that Saturday morning flight. He did a great job of coaching the kids on the do's and don'ts before they went out, which was good for the veterans as well as the newbies.
note - this message was not influenced by the beer he bought at clean up last nightLast edited by Cameraboy; 06-25-2007, 01:31 PM.Mike Johnson

Hmmm, I was wondering, if its not too big of an inconveinence, at our next race, if Rick could announce the same "coaching" of the "do's and don'ts" before the CSH heat... just a thought.

Way to go Colin!!!
The cool thing here is that with typical fields of 8-11 J Hydros on any given weekend, there's a lot that can happen, and just about any kid out there has a shot at winning. Granted, there's a couple older, experienced drivers that know the drill, but the way most of our J's are running, it's a pretty even playing field. And the battles for 6th, 7th or 8th place are just as fierce as the battles at the front of the pack.
I never thought I would see the day when racers on the shore pretty much drop what they are doing to watch a J race, but it's happening here.
