25XS Gearfoot Question?

Is the old style 25XS gearfoot legal for 25SSH? If its not, does anyone know where I can find the newer one? I have the old one and I want to be legal for Zanesville.

Hey Ian,

Do you mean 25SS gearcase on a 25xs then the no it is not legal. Call dave young on the east coast or get hold of Jerry Palmquist to see if he has any cases left. You will need to get the case profiled as well before you run it at OH.

Ian, I have an extra 25XS engine. Bring your boat, you can either run my motor or pull the gearfoot and run it on yours.
