  • Constantine Stocks race updates

Just got back from taking the trailer and boats to Constantine pits (Thurs. night). People were steadilly pulling in during the one hour we were there. Looks like there is going to be full fields of some very fast company. Looks like great weather will be in store but temps will be warm both days (80's and 90's) so bring lots of water to keep hydrated. Night time beverages may be different however.

    Day one

Large turnout of boats in "A",AXS,J classes.Elimination heats run in those classes. I think they had 11 or 12 "C" hydros. LOTS of gun jumpers in many of the classes. Many top drivers elimated due to oopses. Great weather but very warm. Light breezes. No major accidents. Some wet drivers but none hurt. MHRA clicked off the schedule with last heat finishing around 5:30. Back at it again tomarrow. Weather predicted to be even warmer.

        Yes

Some very fast region 7 racers are in attendance. A very wide representation of regions are at this race. East coast, Florida, Midwest. Alot of the nations fastest (both past and present) showed to run. Some dusted off their hardware from taking a year or two off to see if they still had it. Lots of new boats in the pits as well and being run for the first time with good results.

Sounds like a great turnout. I wish I could have made it this year, just to much work to do at home. I'll be back next year.

                  Mhra....................

Thanks for all the effort in putting together a nice weekend. It is always great to bring Val out thet way to race with all the hot shots!! It is a treat to see elimination heats in the J Classes and the only place that happens is in the midwest.

Looking forward to Grass Lake in the fall........trying to bring even more east coast kids out. Maybe even the Pond's will be in tow!
