  • Depue Results ?

I know it's too early in the day to have any yet. Could someone post some when they get a chance. Thanks in advance.

Don’t have official results but this is what I remember in the limited time I had to pay attention to racing with all the stuff we were running. Could not hear the results real well so I won’t say who won but I’ll give some highlights for those that we not there.

Thanks to all those that traveled over to our race from other Regions and great distances. Sorry if I miss someone… Was good to see Scott Reed, Troy Gladkowski, Nuccio’s, Doc Miller coming over to race with us. Along with our friends from Ohio, Michigan…

Scott Reed is fast in CSR!!!

Chris Allen and Troy Gladkowski were impressive in CSH. Splitting heats on Sunday.

Mike Pavlick looks to have 2 MPH on everyone in 20, passing everyone on the outside. I hope he never gets serious about working on his stuff.  Need his kids to start racing so he spends less time on his stuff and focus’s more on J.

Andy Hanson then Amy Sweeny, Chris Algers, Donny Allen were fast in ASH. Andy has a tiny little bit on them. I think it’s also the 40 years of racing and knowing how to work those youngsters over. 

DSH from what I could tell…Hauenstein’s

ASR…I don’t think there is a faster ASR in the county then Bill Pavlick’s. I know I just jinxed him. If you believe in that stuff, I don’t...

Joel Kiddy is looking fast in the J classes. Michael Sweeny, Thomas Allen, Carter Olsen are running pretty good also.

BSR class, don’t remember must not have watch very close, sorry.

Chris Dudak looked real fast passing everyone on the back stretch the heat 1 heat I saw in BSH.

No 25H’s, but it would have been Joey Z if they had, as everyone knows.

Terzinski’s in the Mod stuff were as fast as usual. I don’t remember who won DMH.

    25R Ross.

Scott Clark was fast but is still getting used to his new boat aquired from the retired Rich Runne. He did get good starts Rich. I told him I think the pink on that boat cursed him. It took off on the straightaway like a pink flamingo. Thank god he has plywood in his garage as the whole left side will need to be replaced. Or maybe he should leave it all taped up till he has it all figured out. All I know is we were invade by Worm Chaser boats as Scott had his, Nuch was getting his diled in, and Backus was just getting warmed up in his new worm chaser. Boy if Jerry would have been there it would have really been interesting. In any event after Scott dumped Dewey got him a pass to the big show in Washington. Not enough boats in 25R to get anyone in the big show. We did get to see them CSR boys duel it out in 25R. Looks like who ever gets to the first turn first may decide the outcome. Great to see all the out of staters. Thanks BSOA Great job!!!!!!!!!!!

Ed won BSR on Saturday, Paul Trolian won on Sunday
Andy Anderson won ASR on Saturday, Bill Pavlick won Sunday
        Both classes qualified

Mikey- I doubt you will ever see Scott Clark in a runabout, you meant Scott Reed.

              Thank you BOSA

Although I questioned my sanity (and Scott’s) in the wee hours of Friday morning it turned out to be well worth the trip. It was a weekend filled with great weather, even better racing, and most importantly, the company of some of the finest people our sport has to offer. I can’t tell you what a great time I had seeing so many of my friends from the Midwest.
Hope we see everyone real soon.

              Thanks!

I always mix the Scott's up. Let me tell you Matt these boys were a hit at the pot luck dinner. There dish to pass was boxes of Crunch and Munch. Boy did that jack us up so we could drink the whole half gallon of Crown Royal the Trolians brought out after dinner. Mike

My guess is the Crunch and Munch box was opened and probably left over from the long drive. Heck, i think that's what he brought to the pot luck last weekend at Lambertville!!

See ya this weekend.......Luce is making the trip also, look out DSR's.

I would like to ditto Troy's comments. We had a great time of racing, and hanging out with everyone. Thanks for all who worked to put on a great race.

                          Nice

Our first time at DePue. A great race put on by a great club. Very very nice members. We will return and hopefully do better. Thanks to Chicago Paul for the lake DePue casino boat tour to the judges stand.

For the record we did not bring the Crunch and Munch. We did however open the box. Between the Pot Luck and the Trolian BBQ I may have Reed start on a DSH.

                              My DePue results...

My results from DePue were sore knees, legs, arms, etc, etc.
It was great to see my old friends again. It was great to make some new friends as well.
BTW, For those who couldn't be there, it was a great weekend! The weather was perfect on Saturday! It was a little cloudy Sunday, but still very pleasant. The race program seemed to move along very smoothly. Another testimonial to the great folks behind this race.
Thank you so much to Marine Racing Club and Badger State Outboard Association.
(And thanks to the many nice folks who helped me get my boat on the water.)
