  • Check Us Out!!!

Tom here from the UNH Aquacats. We're hopefully on our last week of fabrication, not quite in time for Millville but pretty good for 7 guys who have never touched a chisel before! Feel free to check out our website as we will update it more frequently as it gets finished up this week. Let us know what you think! We look forward to seeing you all at the races this year.

    Best Regards,

      This is cool to see!

Next winter you should challenge the engineering dept at a local rival school and build C Runabouts! (to start even as you guys alreayd have hydro building experiance now) Even if from kits/plans it would be a great challenge to see and blast to be a part of! Pick 3-4 race that both groups enter and see who comes out on top. The local race club executive could judge on workmanship.

Hope you have a blast this summer regardless!

Edit: also just a note... I see your APBA link goes to the PWC site www.apbaracing.com, not the circle racing site www.apba-racing.com

Last time they posted pics I noticed the boat looked familure I didn't know if the boat was R&D'd from one of our designs they'd seen or if they bought plans. Checked with dad a little while after and they did buy plans for a Fralick CSH. Not sure if they followed to the letter or added some of their own ideas.

Looks like they are doing a great job of it regardless and putting in all the little tricks.

          Welcome

If you have an opportunity, check out their website. Bunch of great guys and they accomplished this project while never having seen a race.

That changed this weekend as they travelled 8 hours to Millville, NJ to witness the Northeast Divisional Cahmpionships. Unfortunately, they will miss the Standish, Maine race due to a minor conflict - graduation!

They hope to make Lambertville but are a little skeptical. They wanted to know if boat burning on the bon fire happens all the time! They were informed that because it was Divisionals two boats were burnt, but usually it is only one!

Anyone that has kevlars and or helmets for sale, let them know.
