    Agreed With Weaver

There are a LOT of vendors that you can purchase anything from for your Alky engine. Most of the current Alky motors have factory support and you can order parts off the shelve just like a stocker should be able to. Need a piston, call them up, just like you would for a piston for an OMC. Need a dealer, call the dealer that represents the factory same as you would for OMC and Mercs.

Need motor work done, Stockers call TJ, Goller, ETC to blueprint. Alkys call the group of people that do this same as others.

Kind of the same thing, just a little more newer stuff out there and it is made for racing, not to hang on the back of your ski boat. Might be why it is slightly, and only slightly more expensive than stock. Sometimes cheaper depending on the class.

No Dana, I am not debating with you on costs...........

I didn't get last years card. Does this mean I won't get this years card either?

And to Quote David Weaver: "I run the engine as delivered by the factory and have a grand old time."

On the way to a race in Springfield, Illinois, I stopped at air freight and picked up a new 350 Pro motor. Uncrated it on the lake bank. Put it on a brand new Krier Runabout that was delivered to the race (see my avatar for a photo). I guessed at a propeller and set-up (by-the-way, the parity Czar did not tell me how to set up my boat). The motor started first pull with the prop in the water, didn't have to lift it. I ran second to Rich Krier that day. Over the next 11 races I took 10 first places and one fourth. Then at the Nationals I ran two seconds and a First for an overall second. I also won National High Point for 350ccR. The only wrenches that motor saw the entire year were a prop nut wrench and a spark plug wrench.

In summary - a box stock Pro motor, no blueprinting, no black magic, just pull the starter cord and go, It doesn't get any simpler than that.
