    The tallahasee race is stil in the planning stages as there is some big costs to rent the water. Make sure you and all of your friends show up at the March race in Lake Placid so that the club can make enough money to pay for the race and then it is sure to happen.

      You speak of Lake Bradford. It is run by Florida State University (FSU). FSU limits to four power boats at a time and charges a $10 launch fee. FSU also conducts a safety inspection to assure your boat meets state laws and they record your State of Florida vessel registration numbers. Your registration must be displayed on the vessel and up to date. You also have to sign a waver releasing them from damage you may cause. Each time you pull the boat out of the water is another $10 launch fee, so change your prop while the boat is still in the water. They will not let you launch if there is any local organization is having an event at one of their gazebos (sp?) or if there are many canoes or sailboats. I suggest you call FSU in advance before making the journey up from South Florida. Make sure they are open since they are scheduled around the school schedule. Also, you want to make sure you don't make the drive and find out you are the fifth boat and cannot launch or that your boat registration is out of date.

        Feh

        Cheyney;
        It is my understanding that OMC triples, FEH, will be run at Ocoee in March.
        Luce from NYC is coming down and Grimes from NY is thinking about it. Hope we get a few more.
        If the AOF race at Lake Placid the week prior,
        u should be able to test there.

          Chambers

          Chenny,

          If you run the usual exhaust out the top with one pipe, it might be to loud for Ocoee. You putting chambers on ? I would make sure all who are running FE down there make sure the Mod 50 Exhaust and etc is acceptable. Still not as noisey as the megaphones, but most FE's have a megaphone out the bottom to dump the exhaust. I know we could not test down there previously in Ocoee, only race with the FE's due to noise.

          Good luck to all heading down there, should be a great points race.

            It would be wise for anyone driving any distance to check with the organisers of this race,
            to determine if their class will be run,
            and if their mod motor is, or is not, permitted.
