Sad News From Michigan

I'm new to this site and have not raced since the mid 80's, but having
stumbled onto this thread I was very saddened. I was from Ohio but did
most of my racing in Michigan. My first ever race was in Trenton in
the mid 70's. At the time I had a 30-H but no legal boat. Fred Miller
talked me into coming up and said he would have a boat for me to use,
and the boat was owned by Don ( 13' pink colored Nicky). Don helped
me set the thing up and I finished a whole weekend of bringing up the rear.
From then on I got to know Don and learned quickly that he was all about
supporting racers and stock outboard. I will always have a fond memory
of Don Allen. Chris Fabbro
