Anybody planing on going to this race in may 19-20 .. If so what are you runin'? I'll be there with a D and E MOD hydro and runabout ....Kevin Nichols 18-F.
Doug McAlarney, 50-F with a 102SH and OSY
Zachary Tonello, F-75 with a 102SH and OSY
I can tell you that if this race does happen that it is probably one of the best race sites in the US. I test there from time to time and it is first rate.
There are a lot of costs involved in Talahassee. If you are really interested, then you need to call Carl Staron and offer some help and a promise to show. Same goes for Altoona, FL. The lakes and sites need to be rented. In Altoona, the money has already been paid, just waiting for some participation promises.

Both of these race sites make a lot of sense to persue AOF. Do them, work out the bugs, and then move them on over to APBA if you desire. But in the meantime, offer to help get the grass roots racing off the ground.
i'll be there i have already turned my vacation in for it...who wants to run or go to APBA when the cost are higher, the races are further away and you don't get the southern hospatality.......

Hey, play nice now. No need to worry because the APBA clubs had no interest at all in running at Lake Bradford. Their loss. Hopefully the Tallahassee race works out. It really is a top notch facility. SImilar to Raleigh, NC. If AOF doesn't do it, maybe USTS should take a look.
