I make the front nose pieces such as what is on my boats. If you want one, give me a holler, we can work a deal.
Dave - Are the ones you make composite, wood, or fiberglass? I'm converting my hydro into a laydown, extending the cockpit and will need a new front cowl. can you pm me the length, height, width, with windshield or without, and of course price. - Thanks, Tim Chance
The ones I make are adaptable to most boats. I sold one to a guy here for his B&H C stock as he does not like the generic one that came with the kit. It adapted quite well and gave the hull a new look.

Sacrilege I say, SACRILEGE! An "Indy car style" (don't know what else to call them) nose on a B&H? SACRILEGE.
Here's an example of one of the best looking outboard hydros ever built.
Art I think they are not reading your post close enough. The cowl you are talking about is one that serves as a spray sheild for the motor correct? If so give my dad Mike Franck a call He can tell you how he built ours and they work very well besides looking nice. I'll send you a PM with his number.
Thanks and yes their is communication problem. Will call Mike.

they are easily made Art, if you have the aluminum casting that bolts to the mounts on the powerhead. Just go down to Home Depot or something and buy some clear thin acrylic, cut it to the size you want, then warm up your oven, place the plastic in the oven for a few minutes, with the door half open, then remove the plastic (wear gloves to protect from burning hands), and place it on a round object (some kitchen trash cans work perfect for the circular size) and let it form around the can........that is how I do them...........then drill the mounting holes with a "plastic type' drill bit or you could just tape the areas you want to drill and use a regular drill bit......
on the aluminum castings, I have a few spares and my brother has made some out of stamped aluminum also. I also make the shield, so that it swings out of the way, when you want to do a carb adjustment or throttle cable hook up..........just bolt one side with a nylock nut and the other with a regular nut and lock washer....
Art, call me, I have some of those, just about everything mentioned. I have a mold for the Mercury Spray shields that go in front of the carbs, I will soon have rear cowls that fit on the boat, not quite what Darren posted, but rear cowls. Mine will be a little more rounded. I have one in my shop now if you are interested in that.
So, I guess if you are serious, give me a holler. I am in the NBRA directory, or call 269-965-8406 Hme - 269-420-1118 Cell
