there are 4 sites that I really only visit and all relate to boat racing.
word of advice, do your research FIRST, before you jump into any boat racing agendas. I know you said you have drive fast boats before, so have I, but "our boats" are vastly different than anything else out there. We don't turn right (well, maybe a couple do on rare occassions), we don't go in reverse, and we race on closed courses or on courses where our type of boat are the only ones. If you think you can just go buy one of our types of boats and go play in your local river and such, you are mistanken, as you have a very good chance of getting hurt or hurting someone else in the process. Just attend some races in your area and talk to the racers there and "listen" to what they have to say...............good luck and be safe!
Not that much lift 2"
Using come creative clamping.
Darrell
to me, it does not look like there is even 2" of lift..........keep up the pics Darrell! Is this one gonna have the same deck lines, like the other one?
Darrell..You may be suprised at this...but I have never been to a kilo event. How do you keep the thing from blowing over? Looks like a lot of lift built in. I am pretty impressed. Dave
Keith it is looking good. I'm glad Kelly is helping, he is a good craftman. Are you getting excited yet?? Does Kelly want to take it for a ride when you get it done??
Looks good Dave. I see that there's no snow on the ground. I still can't believe there's no snow staying back home. Must be making it easier to heat your shop
Well! I got the DSH Keylard fixed and repainted after the smuck at the nats. I will be starting on a Scott/Craft FEH next week. Here is the Keylard in it;s new burgundy attire.
A round nose hydro? I have not seen a new one of those since I was in diapers. (And no, I was not in diapers last year, so all of you get your mind out of the gutter!)
Dave,
Looks like you haven't been to kilo in awhile. A pickle fork hydro has much more drag the a round nose. This is the first hydro design of mine that has been faster than my runabouts through the traps at a kilo.
