Reg. IV Stock Members

No, I'm not talking about the fact that the National Meeting is way far away from Region 4, I'm talking about the *distance* many racers feel toward the National agenda. They just wanna go racing, no real interest in the meetings and yammering that goes on and on.

Well lemme tell ya, a lot of stuff goes on at those meetings, and not all of it is good for us in the Stock/Mod/Pro classes. To prevent bad things from happening, WE NEED A VOICE AT THE NATIONAL MEETING! John Runne is that voice. John is a respected racer who can make his voice heard - trust me on that We need John at that meeting.

Okay, so John has a plane ticket and can camp in someone elses hotel room. If he's lucky he'll sleep in an actual bed instead of on the floor. But you still need to eat. I've tried surviving on hospitality room snacks and it doesn't work. One needs three squares a day.

All that said, how about Region 4 racers? Become a "Platinum Team" Region 4 racer and send John to the National Meeting.

Great idea Bill, ok lets make this official starting tonight, every region 4 HR member that signs up for the HR Platinum membership will have there funds sent to John via me at the end of December. In other words I will write John a check at the end of December for the total amount collected from region four members between 12/06/06 & 12/31/06 the challenge is on! become a HR Platinum member and help our region commissioner.

I need your help. My luck! Overtime at work has been cut drastically do to the slow down in housing starts for the foreseeable future. At this time I cannot afford to go to the National Meeting. I have recieved $500. from the Reg. IV treasury, that covers the flight, but leaves me well short of other expenses. For the last 5 yrs. I was able to pay for this trip with my boat building earnings. This year, not so. I have many proposals to submit to the Commission and believe this to be a very important meeting in regards to the future of our sport. Any contributions would be appreciated.

Send me your mailing address via email when you get a chance so far you need to make Gary's contribution last your entire stay so it looks like happy meals every night at Mc D's no drink or cookie. I will keep the offer open through the first weekend in Jan.
