Not sure if this has already been posted or not, but all of last week the Radio Controlled model boat world held their version of the Kilometer Time Trials. They only run 1/16th mile straightaways, but still have to take an average of 2 back to back runs.
These aren't exact speeds, but here's the main highlights:
Electric Hydro - 140.9 MPH! No, that's not a typo.
Nitro Hydro - ~125 MPH
Gasoline Hydro - 106 MPH
Want to see what a 140.9 MPH R/C Hydro looks like? How about some videos? Here's the link.

Select NAMBA West Coast Time Trials. The JAG team from Germany set the 140.9 mark so click on "The JAG Boat" for a quick look at their original design outrigger hydro. All the vid's are good. I don't think the vid of the 140.9 run has been posted yet, or if it was even filmed, but these vids will give you an idea of these impressive speeds the R/C world is hitting.
Enjoy.
