It seems as if time passes all to quickly. I was informed this afternoon that another old racer passed. Bobby Blackley of Garner, NC. passed away Monday night in his sleep at home. It was rather unexpected. Memorial service will be 2 pm Thursday at Bryan Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC. 27529. Bobby raced Pro Antique C Service and C Raceing motors untill about 7 or 8 yrs ago. He was at the Pro Nationals this year with his son David.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the Blackley family. Bob was an old friend of my dad and my grandfather and was always so nice to me everytime I saw him. Some things you just never forget.

Condolences

My sympathy and condolences to Bob's family and friends. I got to see him very briefly sitting in a wheelchair at the USTS Raleigh race last month.

I'm sure he loved seeing the Alky's run one last time for his memories.

My Condolences

I had a chance while I was driving for Wes Jones to spend a good amount of time with Bob and he was a genuine boatracer who would do anything for you.

I can still picture him in those caster stained overauls!!
