Alpena Classic marathon tenative date

It is tenativly scheduled for the third weekend in June.It looks like it will be an AOF event.Stay tuned.

Bob...I know that trying to schedule a date for a race is very difficult because of conflicts with city, county, DEQ, other races etc. and I know that you have worked very hard to make this race go. You are probably already aware that the 3rd weekend in June is (I think) the date for the Constantine race and that this race is a Divisional race. I am just afraid that you might lose many drivers who would otherwise attend if they had to make a choice between the two. I know that I would have a tough time deciding which race to attend. Just a thought. You probably knew all this already.

Divisional Race?

I believe it is TRORA turn to host the Divisionals this year.....Ck w/ Jerry, Dana or Joe S. for what weekend they have it scheduled for.

no Divisionals but....

...the third weekend in June (Father's Day) is traditionally Constantine, MI.

Constantine, MI hosted the SO/J Divisionals in 2006. It is actually MRC/BSOAs turn for 2007.

Bob...just wondered if you were making any headway on the race? After all your efforts it would be a shame to let it fall through the cracks. Let me know if I can help. I live in East Jordan but would be willing to travel over there if needed.
