Hey everyone ,, we had an amazing weekend of racing here in sunny Frostproof . The weather was impecable and the racing was tight in every class ,every one left saying how great of a weekend they had and cant wait to come back next year.. We are really making some good changes here in region 5 and I hope that next year will be the start of the reamergence of region 5 racing the horizon is looking pretty nice... on the heavier side of things this morning we all recieved the news about Trav and it was weighing heavy on all of our hearts all day . The whole drivers meeting had a long moment of silence and we all prayed for Mr. Pond and his wife for their great loss...I think that about does it ,cant really think of words right know ,,,,all I keep thinkin of is Travis .. love and light to ya's all Ken Godwin 824-F

Once again a great race put on by a hard working few from Trora.
It sure wasnt as warm as Frostproof but all went well. I should only comment on my class here and let others post.
In 25ssh we had nine entries!!! I was amazed, especially when the weather prediction was bad and so late in the year.
WHO SAID THIS CLASS IS DEAD?????????

Joe 'Superman' Zolkowske came and won both days again. Drivers like Rossman, French, Keegan and myself tryed very hard to get ahead of him and he still caught us on the outside. Just incredible. Nailing the start just doesnt matter, he'll catch ya!
I offered to store his boat and motor for the winter, but he wouldn't bite.
Thanks Joe for driving 12 hours to race with us and kick our hiney's.

Congrats to Keegan and French for really racing us hard and fast! Very impressive to see (from behind) and exciting for next year.

If you get a minute go to the 25ssh high points on Apba's website. Click on the points that Joe has amassed (god forbid I would say, 'ac***ulated' on this site) He has had a season most of us will only dream about. Congratulations Joe, you are the type of guy I don't mind loosing to.

I want to thank all of you who came out in the cold to support our final race of the year. We had an excellent turnout at Franklin with approximately 120 entries on Saturday.
