My son is stationed @ Ft. Benning, Ga., and is having racing withdrawals. He mentioned seeing something about a race is Jessup. Could someone post confirmed dates (October?), and rough directions? What classes run there? He would love to come visit, put faces to some of the names he sees here on HR, (he's a west coast guy) and lift a boat or pull a rope.

Jesup is October 28&29, the last weekend of the month. We will have all Stock, Mod, PRO, J, SLT & OPC classes.

Looks like the shortest way from Ft. Benning to Jesup is:

280 South to 82 East to 84 North that will take him into Jesup. The sanction should be up any day so he can see what all the little roads are to get into the actual race site.

Hope he can make it out!

Tell your son to stop by the Prop Riders trailer if he comes to Jesup. My husband is active duty currently stationed in Afghanistan and we always welcome the military to our pits!!

while he's there. this guy is the best rope puller, i've ever had, i think he pulled the motor off my boat once , HE'S THE ONLY GUY I'VE EVER SEEN WHO CAN PULL A MOD MOTOR THROUGH, FULL OF FUEL, !!!!!! hey steve you ought to have him sign up here, i'd love to chat with johnny,( i know he loves it when i call him that). kevin
