  • Brighton, MI Race (9/23 - 9/24)

For those of you who are coming to the Brighton Race next weekend we have picked out a location that most of you would probably enjoy for dinner and after hour entertainment - fortunately its in the same location!

From what I understand most of you will be staying off of the I-96/D-19 exit in Howell or relatively close. The restaurant is called the B-Line Bar. It's definitely what we are all accustomed to on race weekends. The food is great and they have pool tables, darts, etc. A great place to migrate to as a group for social time and provides the perfect atmosphere to dry off and warm up. (I hear we have some complainers about Michigan weather...)

The B-Line Bar is located on D-19 (Pinckney Rd.) - approximately 5 miles south of I-96. The address is 5600 Pinckney Rd. Maybe a mile or so past Coon Lake Rd.

We are extremely excited to have landed a great spot like Bishop Lake, not only is it 20 minutes from our home, but it should provide a great course to race on!

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

    Brighton MI Race

The Brighton Race is just a few days away hope to see as many of you all as posible. My self, Bud Parker and Jimmy went to the B-Line Bar to check it out last weekend and it is great just like Heather M said in the earlier post it will be perfect for us boatracers. On Friday night everyone is welcome to come to my house for some cold drinks and Sloppy Joes after testing I live 4 1/2 mile from teh pits.

    See you all there

I will be there with a DSH and a DMH. There should be enough DSHs to race for points.

            Brett -

Not sure if your looking for directions to the Robb's on Friday night or the restaurant/bar....however I realized I left out directions for those wanting to go to the B-line bar from the pits....

The directions provided above are based on the assumption that most people are staying at the hotels off of D-19 in Howell and heading to the Hotel prior to going to dinner, etc. (D-19 is Exit 137 off of I-96).

However, if coming straight from Bishop Lake - (approx. 10 minute drive from the pits)

            1) if you use www.mapquest.com - plug in starting location: 4600 Bishop Lake. Rd, Howell, MI and ending location: 5600 Pinckney Rd., Howell, MI.

            2) otherwise - take Bishop Lake to Chilson Rd. (not sure which side of Chilson the entrance to the pits is) - North on Chilson Rd. - keep left at the fork to continue on Chilson Rd., Turn Left on E. Coon Lake Rd., Left on CR-D19/Pinckney Rd., head south on Pinckney Rd. approx. 1-2 miles? B-Line Bar on right side of road.

As far as Longitude and Latitude, I can't help you... sorry!

            Hope this helps!

            Heather
