I just wanted to thank everyone who called, sent cards and emails. It really did make me smile and feel better.
I'm still doing ok. The 3rd toe looks like it's going to take the reattachment. My son says "it looks like a grape with a tounge ring" The stiches come out on Mon the 18th and hopefully by then the cut that has to be repacked everyday will be healed enough to be stiched closed.
It looks like I'll be out of work for a minimum of 4-6 monthsThanks again to everyone
Be safe the rest of the season and please DON'T RACE YOURSELF FOR LAST PLACE!!!!!!!!!! It's not worth the injury to your self or someone else.
