We ran the mile and quarter both days. A couple "J" records by Bryan Bartlett and Aaron Peterson. Jason (55-R) broke the DMH record. Other than that pretty laid back and quiet on the record front.
On another note Zach Malhoit blew over his 350 hydro at over 100 mph in testing on Friday! He's ok just a little sore today still. Took a trip to the hospital just as precautionary reasons. Boat and motor are in fairly good shape.

It's already Monday afternoon and no report on Lawrence Lake ... are we spoiled by HydroRacer or what
stayed tuned for official updates! I know for sure Jason Williams's (Oregon Jason) broke the DMH record (was his anyways)! He set the record in a 15yr old 75lb's overweight PUGH. He would have SMASHED the record if he would have had a good start!! Just figure he was about 4MPH under the record the first lap, but more than made up the speed in the following laps to break the record. That boat is SMOKIN' fast!! I think the others were in the J classes and the AX classes...........

Actually, Bartlett broke Aaron's record Sunday afternoon. He got both JH (36.3?) and JR (35.4?). Ashley Rucker was also over the JH record in second place. Jason Williams upped of his DMH record (77+) as already noted. If there was an AXS record, it was one of the Hannon kids - not sure if one held up though. Three-time defending champ John Peeters upped his record at Push Boat Nationals to 88 feet, but was knocked out for the overall crown by Aaron Peterson.
Water was rough Saturday, and it warmed up Sunday afternoon. Close racing in the Yamato classes all weekend. Great duel between Kelly and Myers in 25ssr, both heats. And 4 of the 5 kids from the HARM J project raced, two for the first time. Phase II of the project continues this winter - more boats being built - new families wanted.
Photos will be up later tonight.

Unfortunitly there was no record set in AXS, Kelly Hannon raced for the first time this year and joined as a single event. She ran AXSR and was over the record (my record) the first heat, but didnt get the record because she was a single event. We sweet talked the scores, paid the extra money and joined her for a full membership between heats. But by the second heat the water was not as good and she was slower then earlier in the day.

Yeah, that whole deal sucked.
You looked real good in 20, Kyle. Anytime you want that ride, just say so. Hope we can borrow that prop from the previous owners again
