I didn't see the incident with Bill... but heard it was a big one. He was in the pits later in the day walking around. Little stiff but seemed fine other than that. It sounded like there was some confusion... When the medics where talking to him (they were french) at some point they asked about his neck. Bill said something to the effect, I'm ok I was wearing a neck brace... the medics understood that to mean something to the effect of I want to wear a neck brace, and began taping him up and fitting him with stuff... haha. Better safe than sorry!

I believe everyone from the weekend was ok. Few banged up boats, but no injuries I heard of.

I saw Drew Franklin limping around a bit, but were gone when I wen to see them. Any word on how he is?

[QUOTE=Andrew 4CE]For those interested... here is the link to some pictures. Some great shots!

Those are some great pictures. On page one there is a couple shots of some old mercs running. Are those old D stockers-haven't seen those run in a long time.
We have an original 30H and 40H setting in the shop. We just pulled our old DeSilva hydro out of the shed and are going to refurbish it just for something to play with.

I'm sorry not a DeSilva hydro a Sid Craft hydro. All the wood is in great shape. It has original Keller hardware. The only thing that has been changed is the old cloth deck was replaced with wood. We want to change it back to cloth.

Yup! Old D's! At most the Ontario races we still have regular races for the Classic B and D classes. At Long Sault they combined the Classic Ds with 44xs's to save some time and it didn't cause elims since it was a joint inboard and outboard race.

Sorry Andrew, the classic D's were by themselves, we combined the CMH's (3) with the DSH's (7)
