you dont know how tempting it was to Tow the divers and their Buoy off the course After beating on the side of the boat for what felt like 10 min. trying to get them to come to the surface. (isnt that a diving rule)?or do you have to pull their rope?

easy to keep it rolling when you have good help. From registration to turn boat volunteers to judge's stand to announcing, everyone chipped in and made it work. Great team effort.

As bad as the weather looked like is was gonna be... We sure lucked out with a great weekend at Pleasant Prarrie, WI

FRIDAY for testing we watched 2 major storms pass us to the south and the north..... unfortunately not many showed for testing.
SATURDAY, although being overcast, it was quite humid and 70 degrees... I dont think it rained until almost 5pm.
SUNDAY it was a bit nipply in the am hours but turned to sunshine by noon with a high of 65 degrees.

And to you Michigan guys who are afraid of going thru Chicago.... Its not as bad as you think going thru the city... Its all about when and where you go through. Supporting each others races is a two way street. (Remember for next year, go thru between 10pm and 2am)

Alli broke her leg playing on the slide on Sunday while I was in the patrol boat. She got it checked by the paramedics on site and they said nothing broke keep an eye on it. We stopped in the Dells for gas and she would not put any weight on it. So when we got home at a respectable 10:30, we dropped the dog off at home and headed to the E.R. Xrays at 2am showed a break just above the ankle. They put a splint on it there. Home about 3:30am. Mon am off to the orthopedic surgeon to have another look. He said it is very common in young kids and sees at least one case a week. He said all looked good, no surgery, just a cast for 4 weeks.
