Don't forget that this weekend, Lake Lawerence is once again host to the Push Boat Nationals! Mike and Denise Johnson will be this year's race directors. A big thank you to Mike and Denise for stepping up this year. Be sure to thank them and help them out if you can. It's not easy to manage all those kids. I think the last couple of years, we've had over 50 entries!
Regardless of the water level or the weather conditions, the kids will demand that the event go on. As always, I've made up a few "rentals" for those that do not have a Push Boat.
If you have a Push Boat, be sure to get a nice paint job on it for the Concourse D'Elegance (best looking Push Boat). Also, be sure the bottom is smooth and those edges are sharp for the main event.
And will this be the year that John Peeters gets surpassed? His custom Push Boat has been unbeatable for quite a while now.
One last thing, if you can help support this event with some sponsorship money or merchandise, it would be greatly appreciated. And please help Mike and Denise. After all, how will they be able to put this show on AND take photos?!
