                        Sorry

                        I wish we could come up for the best race in the region but my wife Jessica and I moved from Vermont to Wisconsin this summer. Seeing the roll call for Long Sault really bummed me out. Even though we now live in a part of the country where I can race BSR again I still long for Long Sault. Not a lot of races can hold up to the way Long Sault was run, the course, and the hospitality. My wife and I would like to thank everybody invloved with the race for some of the best memories of a perfect race.

                          I can't tell you how much we appreciate your feedback, but I am also disappointed that you and your wife won't be here this year. It is always a pleasure to chat with both of you. I tell you what, had you made the trip from all the way out there you would definately have the 24 for the longest distance travelled!

                          Hope to see you again at the races someday!

                            Some additional details regarding the weekend.

                            Breakfast is available on Saturday and Sunday morning for a nominal cost at the canteen beside the pit area.

                            There will be a supper in the campground on Saturday night, tickets are $8.00 per person and the meal includes;

                            Ceasar salad
                            Lasagna
                            Dessert
                            Soft drink.

                            Tickets will be available at registration and the canteen.

                              What if..?

                              Bob;
                              RE; Ceasar salad, Lasagna, Dessert & Soft drink.
                              THIS MENU SOUNDS GREAT!
                              -but what if some of us are not allowed to have soft 'drinks' [ie; "Pop", in the lower 48]. Will we be permitted to bring our own 'refreshments' ?
                              I know a lot of the older guys from Fishers Landing are on special diets and will want to bring 'their own'.

                              Also I want to remind people that half the camp grounds in the Park remain open until mid OCT, and rates are reduced. I know not every one has the week off, but we have always just moved our camper down to the 'Woodlands' on SUN nite, and stayed there til FRI AM , and then moved over to Crystal Lake. At this time of year, many water front sites are available. A few racers stayed on last year for a few days, and I am hoping more will this year.
