Sorry, I'm off to work so don't have much time to recap....
6 new North American Champions: DSH Jim Sweeney, 25SSH Jeff Brewster, ASH .....Tate?, 25MH Gene Noonan, AMR Rob Zilka, BMR Jeff WIlliams. Not enough CSH or 20SSH to have a championship.
Weather was fantastic. Brian Palmquist had his hands full in CMH with 9 competitors. Guys like Stotts, VanOver, Rice etc. were very fast and lead changed a couple of times. Water was shallow in turn #1 and by the 2nd lap we had it churned up pretty good. Karl Stoll dominated by a half lap in 25MH but missed the NAC because of a buoy problem.
Will get Barb Robb to send me the full recap and post later. Great weekend. Great support and help from IOA and especially Jack Stotts. He was everywhere and did everything for 4 days ! Mike Marshall, Raceboat61-S, Race Director
