I was going to stay home since my sons cannot race this weekend due to a prior committment.
After a few chilly ones in dad's boat shop last night, he talked me into throwing my hydro onto his trailer. So I will be there to support my class!!!

Just got a call from Gene Noonan, he's coming also. But he reports that Mike Marshall and Bob Schmidt are now not coming. So we are still at four 25ssh! Waiting on a call back from a few others that may be coming. See ya there.

Sorry Jeff, Gene, Steve, and TRORA,
Bob lost the transmission in his Excursion ($1200) and my back gave out Sunday PM and is not healing fast enough. I guess 18 heats of racing at Zanesville plus a couple of hours of testing was just too much. Doctor says stay home and heal. We'll see you at Wakefield. Thanks for coming to ZZV. It was great racing together. Mike

Understand. At 39..... 18 heats get'a little much........
Got to test new rig tonight-(rain'n hard/OK cause I had whole lake to myself!). Knee is letting me know I'm still heal'n from Waterford. But after 5 runs and 4 wheels on 20ssh set up, I think I'm ready.
Work on bottom really paying off---rig is rock steady and fast!

Was look'n forward to turn-boat duty with ya this week-end......Ya got the best fighter jet stories............

Take care of your back. Don't go carry'n that tranny!
Good luck at Wakefield. I'm going to miss it so keep us posted on 25MOD.........

Tom Smith called last night he is now coming for both days and also bringing his 25ssr.

DEFIANCE, OH 2-DAY RACE CANCELLED DUE TO DEBRIS

Call just received at 11:30 a.m. everyone is headed home as the Defiance, OH two-day stock and mod event has been cancelled due to high water and debris on the Maumee River.
