Where is a good source to buy cyclohexane to calibrate the Digitron fuel tester.
    Thanks

    Hi,

You will need to find a local petroleum (automotive chemical) dealer. Other sources for you to look at are:

    Precision Auto Research
    IKTL
    VP Racing Fuels

    Just to name a few.

      Larry,
AOF purchased the Payn digitron and it is kept by John Snell. John Snell has a good source of the chemical you are looking for. (Or always has had). He gets it at the refinery that he is retired from. Check with him.

We have checked with VP and Precision Auto and it is over $100.00 a gallon with the shipping. I would think a chemical company could beat that price.
        Thanks

www.sigmaaldrich.com has it for $112 for 4 liters without shipping. $100-ish a gallon with shipping is probably pretty good.

well the way i did the math the 4 liters for 112 is a better buy
unless of course you dont WANT 4 liters of the stuff sitting in the garage

Sounds like the one to buy.
