Well Steve - Larry and my son Adam had just came in from being turn judges and Larry exicuted a perfect drop off at the dock of my boy. (looking very proud to exicute such a menuver) Adam was walking towards us on shore when I thought I herd a FE firing up. To our surprise it was Larry going like H*LL at WOT trying to pound those pesky bolders to pieces. The look on his face was a true American Express Moment (Priceless). It took 3 full grown men to get that 15 merc. to stop thrashing and somone finally gave Larry the suggestion to push the little red button at the end of the twist grip to shut this ragging bull down. Larrys comment when the white water settled, THE THROTTLE STUCK. Parimedics were on hand thou.
OH yes i saw it .! before it was over the boat was about 1/4 full of water hehe and from my perspective it apeared that he was going to get it ON the dock..... Larry T profesional dock racer? does anyone have pictures????
BSOA has a year end award for the most Brain Dead happening during the year. It is a 200 Watt clear bulb on a wooden pedestal with about 24 volts applied which makes in hum and glow very dimly.
It is a highly coveted and sought after award by all. At its creation for several years Del Snyder kinda had a lock on it, but over time it has been awarded those individuals that appear to have life locked down on Non-Brain Dead Activity.
A rodeo clown in a runaway boat. He fell out and the boat tried to jump the dock. Something like you might see at the Tommy Bartlet show in the Dells. But he did have his Kevlar pants on! I think he has the lead for the Dim Bulb.
