Here is a link to some photos from this weekends race. http://www.racine-extreme.com/racine...allery_ind.htm

I see in the 2nd set that someone is on a stretcher. Does anyone know who it is and if they are OK?

Great Phots Tad! I think you got a shot of every boat in the pits. Great!

What? There was a race? The temp here yesterday was 47 and raining hard. I sure figured the race was called. What a hardy bunch the midwest racers are!

wow! what a weekend. i havent looked, but if the pics were taken sat. It had to be Andrew M. 99W in CSR He is fine! he took a nasty tumble on the front stretch. some observers THINK he was hit by the steering bar in the neck/head area. he was knocked out for a bit and had some neck pain apon regaining conciousness. making the hospital run the only sane thing to do.( in my opinion) BLACK DIAMOND RESCUE team was working this race and did a wonderfull job getting to and attending Andy . unfortunately that was just a warmup run for saturday's racing. due to rain delays and wind delays we had most of sat. to run on sunday. It still was not GOOD racing conditions on Sunday, I lost track of the number of flipped boats T.J. spun out in an ugly crash. I believe he was clear of the boat before J Sobol found a boat suddenly in his path with no time to avoid. when the spray settled both boats were firmly joined. the second boat has a big chunk of TJ's boat imbeded in it. TJ also took a trip to the hospital. He also was checked out then released thankfully. before that crash, One of the Brothers from Valparaiso, IN (Sorry guys i cant remember how to spell your name ) flipped ( I think) but did end up with his cut pants wound up on the prop shaft of his ASX rig, he was not hurt either! to this racer BLACK DIAMOND proved their worth and professionalism many times over! thanks guys! We never did get to run any Sunday races

Pretty close, but it was Chris Fairchild not Sobol doing the forward gainer after firmly contacting TJ's boat. Something about being confused by not being able to let his foot off the gas! (Just playing... Chris did a great job this weekend... He had no time and nowhere to go when TJ dumped right in front of him.) I'm just glad everyone made it through unharmed. It was a really wicked wreck.

K-O-Z-U-S-Z-E-K. Say: Ko Zoo Sek. And it was Adam that flipped the AXSH. There are about five (5) "bite" marks in his kevlar pants from the wreck. Thankfully, none went through and Adam is fine.

Kevin: don't feel bad, as I was talking to the EMTs when they were dragging Adam in and all's I knew was the prop was stuck to his leg, I couldn't spell it either. Ed.

                ED,
Remind Adam to keep ice on his bump a couple times a day. See you all next weekend. 3-W

                  Best part of these photos...

looks like all sorts of new people. And all sorts of folks from the various ORG's playing together. maybe the winternationals did a'bit more than just crown champions wish I could have made it weather not withstanding...
looks to me that DMR is "the class" on the move. 5 at a local race. very cool.. me and Fred would have been 7 come on fat guys.... give up the csr and join us. DMH too... what 9 or ten? Best DMH racin in the country right here in region 8 & 7 a third really means something here.

                    I agree Steve
I had some 3rd place finnishes last year, but 3rd out of 3 is not an acomplishment I was happier with some more than others because i wasn't as FAR behind on some
