What J/AXS hydros, J/AXS runabout, FER, and DMR will be at Huntington Indiana?
    22-N

    James,

Last year there were about 7-8 JHs (Gresly, Oleary, Roskowski, C. Smith...)

I know Wheeler's plan on going and Roskowski and Oleary should be there for sure.

There is no JR or AXSR on the schedule.

Last year there were about 5 or 6 DMRs and 3 or 4 FERs from my memory.

Can anyone comfirm their attendance for JH, AXSH, DMR or FER to help James out?

          James,

Tell your dad to pack the trailer and find the gas card and start driving. Your food all weekend is on the Cafarelli's. Full menu not ready but you will be happy.

I do not think JR is on the sched but if it is there.... The IOA is very cool about making young racers happy. I will check about it.

            Huntington Race

All you folks attending are sure to have a great time. I raced there a few years ago and totally enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing all at Zanesville in July.

The Roskowski trailer will be there with one JH, one DMR and one AMR. Who else will be there with AMR?

I'm pretty sure that the Robertsons will be fielding a new driver in JH also. I think the kids will have a pretty full field and maybe even eliminations

                          Sat Results

Here are some results that I gathered from the PA system when I could hear over the motors. I don't swear by their accuracy at all.

JH - C. Smith, Sweeney - Started out having elims with 9 I think, but after testing scratches made it a regular 2 heat race. 8 boats is about all you want on this course.

DMH - Vanover, Sweeney, Robertson, Welch, Pugh, Dunn - Dunn was right there with Vanover but jumped the start of the first heat I think.

25MH - Miskerik, Noonan, Roskowsi, Schmidt

FER - Luce, Dunn, Hayes(?), Mason - George made his trip from NY worthwhile. He made it look pretty easy.

ASH - Harrington, Proctor, Johnston, Sweeney.

BMH - Koschka (sp), Johnston, Beegle, Proctor, Bolhius(sp) - Daniel just drove around everyone

AMH - P Trolian, Schmidt, Lockerman, Hearn - Ed had trouble in the first heat

FEH - Robertson, Mason, Dunn, Welch - Mason ran away with the first heat, not sure if he jumped or what but he pulled off in the second. Vanover was going to run Jimmy Robbs outfit but they broke a motor in morning testing.

FAH - Johnston, D. Smith, Proctor

CMH - Vanover, Marshall, Bulhuis - Eric was in Cliff Johnson's new boat and it looked very fast.

                          AXSH - A. Gressly - Some jumpers

20SSH/CSH - Miskeric, B. Trolian, Harrington, Koschka - TJ was the only C

DMR - Luce, - Not sure of the rest of the results. Started the day with elims but after testing and I think one flipped in FER earlier in the program made it a regular 2 heat race. George was very strong.

AMR - P Trolian, Roskowski, Kozuszek(?), J. Swain, Hearn - Not sure of the final results. Some broke, some pulled off but Paul ran very well.

Hope I didn't slight anyone on the results - tried to catch what I could off the PA. I'm sure Tom with IOA will have the official results posted asap on the IOA website.

The weather was beautiful with a pretty stiff breeze, but never close enough to stop any racing. There were a couple flips but nothing too serious. Wish I could have stayed for Sunday.

                            Thanks

Thanks to the IOA for putting on a terrific show. The spectators lined the beach, and the show kept moving all day to keep them at the edge of their seats. Racing was completed at a very reasonable hour. Eating supper with daylight to spare sure did make it nice.

I don't know of anyone not pleased at attending this race. Thanks to George & James Luce and Paully for making the long trip from NY. I sure appreciated watching that Arltralight Runabout go around me in FER, it handles like a dream at 86 pounds light. In DMR it was a fun battle, I was pleased with the first guess on a D Mod on my runabout, hopefully George can watch some of my rear end later on.

Paully, what can I say, you are always a trip to be around, and thanks for all the help in getting out.

Steve Dunn, long haul worth it with your wins as well. You have that DMH cooking man !!

Thanks again for all who made the weekend so enjoyable.
