Veteran OPC driver Howie Nichols packed up his family last week and made the 1100 mile one way trip from Cocoa Beach Florida to Franklin, PA for the memorial day weekend regatta where his daughter started in her first J Hydro race. Hats off to the Nichols family for showing such dedication to the sport they love.

Thanks for coming up Howie! I'm sure he enjoyed visiting his family while enjoying the race at the same time. Good to see him again although I didn't have a chance to talk much.
Mr. Bill Walker also came up from Fla. to the race. A very big THANK YOU to all those who drove a long way. Glad the weather was great.

I'll say it again, Thanks to everyone for a great time at Franklin. Excellent race, well run. The girls and I look forward to the next time we can make it to one of your races. Becky had a great time and wouldn't stop talking about it until she fell asleep. You guys deserve a big round of applause for this event.

Howie,
Thanks for making the trip up and just to make you feel better, Tiffany & Little AJ talked about their new friend Becka basically the whole way home (Well AJ lasted only to the highway before konking out). The one question I could not answer was why she wasn't going to be at the rest of the races we are going to this year .Brian 10s
