In the motorhome on the way home... gotta love wireless internet!
It was a beautiful weekend! the weather was perfect, little to no wind, and pleny of sunshine.

        Lots of good competition...
Justin Brewster had his first win in JH on saturday, and Dylan runne won JR on Saturday.

Full field of ASH, Brent Tate won both days, i believe.

Elims in CSH, John Runne won both days. Matt "Capt. America" D'Agostino stuffed his CSH in the 2nd turn on saturday, injured his arm and blew apart his boat, but is other wise ok...

John Runne also won 20SSH, CMH and BMH on sunday, i think... Brian Palmquist put up good a good fight as usual. I know i'm missing a lot of people... but it was a great weekend!

A special thanks goes out to TRORA for putting on an amazing race! no interuptions, and we all got out of the pits at a descent hour! Thanks to the Holt's, Brewster's, William's, and everyone who put in all the effort it takes to put on race! You guys did a great job!

it was a great weekend. except for turn two thats if you werent willing to back off the gas. There was a handful of dumps in the turn. Trora had a great turn out. Even a guy from burmuda came up.

            Franklin Thanks You's

Thanks Stacy. I hope everyone had a great time. We will post results as soon as possible. For the first time in 3 years the weather was perfect. I've got a real nice sunburn to prove it.

I'd like to thank those who worked all day Sat & Sun who didn't race first.....Jodi...park manager for allowing us to race at 2 Mile Run Park. Thanks! Chuck Young in Inspection, Jen Rice scoring, Shannon Hoover on the stand, and Jack Brewster as referee for the sets that included CSH, FEH & 20ssH. Thanks also goes out to Kneal Wiegel -tow boat all weekend & Kevin as the transport boat for the stand. Our rescue team lead by Bill & his son Charlie. It's great to have 4 certified divers and rescue personnel on the water at all times. These guys do water rescue for a living so we cannot mention it enough as to how much we appreciate them! Steve Justice for handling the radios & treasury duties at registration. Rags for the entire PA set-up and re-charging of batteries.

Thank you also to Joel Wiegel for the 9th year in a row. Without him, we wouldn't be racing there. Jeff Williams in Inspection & setting the course. Mike Marshall helping on Friday. Steve French(Risk Mgr.) & Archie Lewis - gas. Tom Rice - parking & removing most of the trailers. Brian Williams - Ref who did a great job getting us off to an excellent start Sat. - Thanks for allowing me to train Sat----that was cool. Joe S, Carl & Steve F. for stand set-up. Dana Holt as RD for taking care of the schedule & getting things going. Jon Brewster for working all day Friday, and juggling pit boss duties with JR, JH, & AXSH. Nate Forshey - race day gas man & buoy pickup. Dylan Justice - handling the J props & helping with tear-down.

Thanks to all the ladies & guys who helped on the judges stand. It was an enjoyable experience over there Sunday. I never saw registration so not sure who was there but I know Jen & Lisa Jennings were..thank you. It's difficult to mention all the names so I apologize for missing anyone who helped out. It's a lot of work and I know many of us put 100% into it. It's ALWAYS worth it.

I believe we had 132 entries. Thank you to all the racers who came to support us. Thank you very much.

First time ever in Franklin, great race, great place, great pits. We are from the Pro Cat. (USTS) and built a D Mod Runabout to run. Had so much fun with this class. Thought the race was run in a real professional mannor. Thanks for your efforts, Bob & Don Rusnak N-9 N-96

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend and all the help and understanding offered to our new JH driver, she may have been scared stiff but kept coming back for more (on her own choice)she left Sunday night loving every minute of it and looks forward to testing and becoming more prepared for the next time. It was worth every second of the 1100 mile trip (one way).

Hats off to the whole Franklin crew and of course Uncle Alex and Cousin AJ for their extended help getting her going.
