Looks like a great race site Jerry will plan on being there and since there is no Williamsport race it comes at just the right time and is about the same distance from me.
Destiny is a matter of chance,it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.

Wow sounds good... money is real tight for me, but as luck would have it I already have the Friday and Monday booked off for holidays... I'll save my pennies and see if I can make it.

I'll spread the word around here too!

              Carpetbagger---Good point!
Reminds me of that country song---"what was I think'n.....a little white tank-top sitting next to me..................Her daddy's shot gun peppered my tail gate..........what was I think'n.......oh WHAT was I think'n.........."

We got married on our pondtoon boat, it's not a racer but...........

Not many put up with a season of ANY kind of race'n. Several made me pick between dirt-track race'n and them--- (I've sang that ..."I'm gonna miss her---Oh LOOK,.. I've got a bite....." fish'n song several times! ) so I'll give her this weekend..........

May run down down Sat with 25ssh/CMH on single trailer...........
Curwensville is about 1 hour South of High Banks/Kinzua on 219.

                Confession, Steve . . .

My anniversary is AUgust 6th, right around the usual dates for the Stock Outboard Nationals. But I have an excuse!

In the summer of `66 my fiancee visited and I took her into DC to watch the Unlimited races. I explained my dream was to race boats someday, and she was so excited until . . . Well, we know what happened at that dreadful Unlimited event, three drivers were killed in a series of accidents. The first deadly crash, Muncie, covered us with fine mist since Miss Bardhal stuffed right in front of us. My sweetie made it perfectly clear that I was never, ever, EVER going to get in a race boat. We got married several weeks later.

Anyhoo, she got over it - sort of. One time I left at the end of the Nationals in Wakefield, MI and drove straight through to Annandale, VA and stopped at a flower shop in town for a vase of roses since that was our anniversary date.
